He's BACK!!
The Italian maestro returns! I'm not sure if any of you remember the last time we had Madox down? Mid-feb, an inch or 2 of snow on the
ground, peeps struggling to get down, but for the many who made sure they did, it was definitely worth their while! It's safe to say he got
the place warmed up... infact piping HOT!! Definitely one of those nights where you love to say ''I was there!''.
Nominated as Best Breakthrough Act at the 2005 Breakspoll Awards, Best DJ, Producer & Remixer at the 2006 event, and featured as ‘one
to watch out for’ in DJ Magazine, Madox continued to build his reputation as one half of Trouble Soup!! with Mantra label mate Santos. The
pair toured all over the UK, notched up a number of remixes between them and also found time to mix their own Y4K compilation for
Distinct’ive. Madox has also managed to squeeze in a couple more collaborations; working with John Acquaviva on electro-house anthem
‘Feedback’ and Dopamine on the ear-shattering techno doubler 'Ballistic' & 'Distorted Mind'.
In 2007 Madox made the move to live in the UK. Now settled, it gave him the impetus to concentrate on his debut album 'Urban Plastic',
which drew massive acclaim across the board with it encompassing so many genres and tastes all in his irrepressible latin style. And he
hasn't stopped there, under the new Guise of Riva Starr he's been chucking out the wobbly rolling tech-house the likes of Jesse Rose &
Claude Von Stroke would be proud of.
