I joined facebook a long time ago, not as a tool for socialising (thats what going out is for), but as a tool to increase visibility of my own sites by adding a large number of links to any group that i created... but i have noticed lately that every page on Facebook is now showing unranked pagerank on the google toolbar!

The value of the links is still high as i can keep inviting friends to groups and spam them with links, but without the increase in pagerank links on facebook bring, which is where most of the hits come from, i really dont see the point anymore?

Is pagerank in Facebook actually gone, or has google just masked its visibility? I can't tell, apart from the pagerank and subsequently hits to my site have fallen by 30%. What makes this worse is that i have not found anything on t'internet to suggest anything eitherway! Please help...???

What i did find though (with the help from the the guys at diggnation) was twitter.com/portsidetwd it still has high pagerank so im jumping on the band wagon

I keep deleting all the wall entries well try too coz im a neat freak even online

... i have noticed that some pages now have pagerank back, but none of the groups or profiles do?

 dont even know what a pagerank is lol

PageRank is a measure of a websites importance according to Google and is a value between 0 and 10, links form sites with high pagerank increase the pagerank of the site the links point too.

The PageRank of a site determines how high up the list it will appear in google searches.
