    Samsung Tocco F480

Bought this phone from carphone Warehouse, it is a very nice phone, with loads of features, love the customisable 'drag and drop' widgets and it is a very compact and solid feeling device. Display quality and touch features are good (though scrolling is difficult, especially since you dont get a stylus), the 5M pixel camera is sweet, the downside is that video resolution is 320x240 (very low), it could do with at least VGA! You can choose to fit a cover that is supplied with the phone to protect the screen, this looks nice but gets in the way when trying to talk.

You can easliy configure the widget screen wallpaper, but i could not change the random diplay images displayed when locking the phone, very annoying, and how do you ad your own widgets, i assume you are just stuck with the ones that are supplied?

There is one further plus point for this device, and that is the ability to remove your micro sd card without having to turn off your phone and take out the battery, and in addition this phone supports 8GB micro SD cards, so loads of storage for your pictures files and videos.

Managed to easily configure Gmail for several accounts using SSL and TLS - no problem, you can even configure a poll schedule which is handy if ya don't want to keep checking for mail manually. One problem i experienced was every now and then you would be prompted to accept a certificate from google, hard if you are driving, sleeping or both.

The biggest disappointment for me was the browser, there is no support for .net website login, so basically any .aspx website is impossible to login to, a big downer since the-port.co.uk is .aspx Sad ... so still no remote management! It did display the site nicely but, thats it, you can't do anything. I think all of the phone manufacturers need to get their act together if they are trying to compete with the iPhone which has an exellent browser, that works with the-port.co.uk Wink and can be easily configured with multiple email accounts, plus the touch functionality is second to none. I am sure that most people would prefer better browser and email functionailty over large camera resolutions on their mobile device... i'm waiting for the new iPhone if you haven't already guessed lol

Needless to say, without being able to access any of the websites i need to login to this phone is pointless for me, so i exchanged it for the LG Viewty.... thats another story.
