I have had the LG Viewty for just over a week now and still have not managed to fix some of the problems i have.

The first and main problem i am experiencing is that i cannot click the login / sign in button on many websites after filling in the user ID and password, this is very annoying, as all of the websites i use require the user to login... does anyone know how to fix this?

The second problem i found was that i could not open YouTube videos, the video would connect, then 'buffering 01%' would be displayed for a while before 'Connection Failed'v pops up... i managed to fix this one by setting the 'Use Proxy' option to 'No' from proxy settings in Settings(cog icon)>>Phone Settings>>Connectivity>>Streaming Settings, and setting the 'Network Account' option to 'Orange Internet', this was previously set to Orange GPRS WAP.

The third problem is that i cannot setup my gmail accounts due to there being no option to set SSL and TLS when configuring the email settings... is there an updated software version that allows this as i don't want to have to use the browser to sign in, i have four different accounts, logging into which is very tedious on my computer, nevermind the phone!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Grrrr.... this phone is really doing my head in, i can't even sign in to Digg?

The touch screen is not very good at all when browsing, links are very hard to click, and even after 20 attempts at trying to select a link it doesn't always load the link page, very frustrating, the handset nearly had an encounter with the wall yesterday!

The one and only good thing about this phone is the camera!

 i agree with the net browsing comments,it aint nearly as good as  the iphone full stop.but it does have advantages, like the 5mp camera vga video 640 x 480 and also its 120 frames per second slow motion video are all plus points.no phone out at the moment has it it all so it comes down to what you want?? if you want faultless touchscreen and excellent music and web browsing then iphone is  the choice.if you want looks ,touchscreen,great camera and video with onboard editing tools  the viewty is the choice. if you want great camera great music great video no touch screen,sat nav, the most features but worst battery life and prone to crashing! as i said its down to what you want!all are good sotry before you buy !!!

Can't dispute the camera, it is very good, been using it to take pics for the groups since i got it, and got some slow motion vids from skate extreme the other day too, will miss this when i get the iPhone but i have an 8 mega pixel digital camera anyway, just means i'll have to take that along too.
